Mr. Timothy “Jordan” Wingler, age 35, of Granite Falls, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at his home. Born April 6, 1986 in Catawba County, Jordan was a son of April McDonald Wingler (Fiancé Andy Hines) and Timothy “Tim” Andrew Wingler (Fiancé Jill Mooneyham). Jordan loved and cherished spending time with his kids. He had a strong passion for the outdoors and riding motorcycles. He was active in many sports throughout his life. That included playing football, baseball, and wrestling at South Caldwell High School. Jordan was a talented guitarist and had a deep love for music. Wilson’s Creek held a special place in Jordan’s heart; he loved to spend time with family and friends there. Jordan worked in the electrical industry for 16 years. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gurney Elijah and Barbara McGuire Wingler; his maternal great grandparents, Rev. L. J. and Essie Crump and Rev. Bennie and Jessie Lynnwood McDonald. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his brother, Dylan Tyler Wingler; his kids, Kaylee Ann Wingler, Caleb Daniel Foust and their mother, April Foust Wingler; his maternal grandparents, Doug and Mary Ann McDonald; his uncles, Tobey McDonald, Tom Wingler and Mike Wingler (wife Robin); his God parents Rick and Brenda Grasty. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. The family will have a receiving of friends on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Day 3 Church in Granite Falls.
