Steve Warren Chester

Steve Warren Chester, age 47, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. He was born in Caldwell County on March 26, 1967 to Johnny Chester and Susie Minton. Steve proudly served as a fireman for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lonnie and Mary Blackwell and Virgil and Sarafina Chester. Steve is survived by his parents, Johnny Chester and wife, Betsy and Susie Minton and husband, Jack; brother, Ronnie Chester and wife, Darice; sister, Crystal Chandler and husband, Terrell; nephew, Dustin Chandler; nieces, Madison Chester and Mallory Chester; and long-time friends, Joy Munday and Karen Morgan. A memorial service for Steve will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Todd Braswell officiating.
