Ron Oliver

Mr. Ron B. Oliver, 75, of Lenoir, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice of Lenoir. He was born May 28, 1942 in Caldwell County to the late Norris Steele Oliver and Helen Barlow Oliver.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis E. Oliver and Larry N. Oliver, and a brother-in-law, Hight Moore. Ron graduated from Lenoir High School in 1960 and attended North Carolina State University.He enjoyed a career in sales in Atlanta, GA and throughout NC.He was a member of Hartland Baptist Church. Ron is survived by his twin sister, Brenda O. Moore, of Lenoir and his sister-in-law, Diane Oliver, of Morganton; two nieces, Denise Moore Kent and Whitney Oliver; four nephews, Brian T. Oliver, John H. Moore II, Jason W. Oliver and David Moore and a number of great nieces and nephews. A graveside service for the family will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM, at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hartland Baptist Church, 3730 Hartland Road, Morganton, NC28655 or Caldwell Hospice, 902 Kirkwood St. NW, Lenoir, NC28645.
