Mary Rich

Mary Magdalene Nichols Rich, age 87, of Trinity, NC passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at High Point Medical Center. Born November 24, 1933 in Caldwell County, Mary was a daughter of the late Richard and Carrie Summerow Nichols. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Troy Rich; and a brother, Dan Nichols. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Hamby Ford of Trinity, NC; a son, Raymond Hamby of Archdale, NC; three sisters, Mae Gilbert, Ruby Rogers and Nellie Jacobs; a brother, Ralph Nichols; five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Confidence Advent Christian Church at 2:00 PM.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church. The family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
