Luigi Tabilio

Luigi (Lou) Edward Tabilio 72, of Hudson, NC, passed away July 21, 2021. He was born on May 8, 1949 in Lenoir, NC to the late Ralph and Geneve Tabilio. Lou was a lifelong mechanic. He built drag cars and raced most of his adult life. He was proud of his racing accomplishments, including the EDCT Hall of Fame. Lou was also a NASCAR Winston Racing Series Chief Steward at Tri County and Hickory Motor Speedways. Surviving Lou are his wife, Marsha Alexander Tabilio, daughter Abigail Tabilio of Hudson, a brother, Pelle Tabilio of Myrtle Beach, SC, and a sister, Mary Tabilio of Hickory.
