John Everette Bolick

Lenoir, NC- Mr. John Everette Bolick, age 42, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Carolinas Medical Center. Born October 3, 1968 in Caldwell County, John was the son of the late, Arvil and Verla Delores Bolick. He worked for many years in the furniture business. John enjoyed NASCAR and fishing. He was an active member of the Calvary Advent Christian Church where he helped run the sound, served as an usher, and was a member of the Men’s Fellowship. Survivors include his wife, Crystal Hamby Bolick of Lenoir; a daughter, Cheyanna Elizabeth Bolick of Lenoir; a son, Clayton John Bolick of Lenoir; four sisters and a brother in law, Vicky and Rex Brown of Granite Falls, Ressie Bolick of Lenoir, Hope Bolick Hamby of Elizabethton, TN, and Rebecca Bolick of Lenoir; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of John’s life will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Calvary Advent Christian Church with Pastor Jim Lee officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
