Jerry Arthur Curtis

Jerry Arthur Curtis, age 82, of Hudson, North Carolina passed away on January 24, 2023 at his residence in Hudson. Jerry was born on February 15, 1940 to the late Ralph Curtis and Sadie Benfield. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Curtis, Ralph Curtis; sisters, Margaret, Muriel Raider, Billie Sue, Kay Austin, and his twin sister Jean. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Christine Curtis; sons, Jeff Curtis (Robin Adams) Keith Curtis (Angie Wilcox), Timothy Bernard (wife Molly); daughter, Suzy Bernard (husband Tim), Amber Bernard Gantt (husband John), Penny Lane Hamblin (husband Mike), Brittany Bernard Deberry; grandchildren, Alex, Stefhanie, Jessica, and Amanda Adams, Wade Gantt, Winston Gantt, Jake Lara, Paulee Templeton, Joley Deberry, Sienna Deberry, Holland Bernard, and Lucy Bernard; great-grandchildren, Andrew Hinson, Brenin Miller, Kaylee Miller, Bailey Lutz, Jenna Stamper; stepsons, Ben Wyatt (wife Shauna), Sam Wyatt (wife Megan), step great-grandchildren, Kayla Wyatt and Luke Wyatt. Jerry enjoyed family, golfing, baking, woodworking and gardening. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service Chapel in Lenoir from 1:00PM to 3:00PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
