Jeni Raines

Lenoir- Jennifer Raines, age 51, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Novant Health – Presbyterian in Charlotte. She was born in Atlanta, GA on July 23, 1970 to Carolyn S. Raines and the late Jason D. Raines. Jeni will be remembered for her big heart and smile. She loved to surround herself with her church family, her beloved cat, Titus, and her best friend, Karen. Anyone who knew Jeni, knew she loved a good cup of coffee and a laugh. Although Jeni faced medical challenges she kept to her faith and remained strong and persevered. In addition to her father, Jeni was preceded in death by her nephew, Jason Daniel Raines. Other than her mother, she is survived by her brothers, Jason C. Raines and wife, Nancy R. Raines; Jon G. Raines and wife, Gina K. Raines; nieces, Hanna and Emma Raines; and Titus her cat. A celebration of Jeni’s life will be held at Harrisburg Baptist Church on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Tony Harris officiating. Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
