Jackie Wayne Sailor

Jackie Wayne Sailor, 69, passed away at his home on May 1, 2022. Jackie was born on March 29, 1953 in Washington County, Virginia to the late Phoebe and Dave Sailor. In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Sailor, Raymond Sailor and Buddy Sailor. Jackie was married to Donna Coffey Sailor for 37 years. Jackie was an Air Force veteran, and finished his working career as a supervisor at Meridian. He loved spending time fishing and playing poker. Jackie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed. In addition to his wife, Jackie is survived by his children: Carrie Helton and husband Bobby; Shannon Ferguson and husband Peter and Patrick Sailor and wife Jessica. He is survived by his grandchildren Seaera Wallace and husband Seth; Mercedes Ferguson and fiancé Brandon; Dalton Effler; Peter Ferguson Jr; Donovan Sailor; and Brianna Sailor. Jackie leaves behind three brothers, Bobby Sailor, Rick Sailor, and Michael Sailor; three sisters, Elizabeth Farmer, Joyce Hicks and Irene Anderson; several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
