Herbert Allen Bryant

Herbert Allen Bryant, 74, passed away Tuesday 10/12/2021, at Hickory Falls Rehab Center. Mr. Bryant was born on May 21, 1947 in Caldwell County to Herbert and Mamie Bryant. Allen was strong in body and mind; he clung to life with a tenacity and strength we can all admire.He lived a full and blessed life. He was a member of Bethel Advent Christian Church. Mr. Bryant was a truly unique individual who always touched the lives of those around him.A colorful personality with a storied history.Allen served in the US Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran.He spent his early career as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.Later in life he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife, Deborah Beth Smith Bryant of Lenoir, his son Tim Bryant and wife Diana Walters Bryant of Mosinee, WI, and their sons Seann Allan Bryant, 18 and Cohen Allen Bryant, 14. He was preceded in death by brothers Ronnie and Doug, as well as his beloved mother and father. Mr. Bryant’s wishes are being honored by his immediate family members.A memorial headstone will be erected in his honor at the Veterans Cemetery in Asheville, NC.A private memorial service is being held.
