Georgia Myers

Georgia Miller Myers, 84, of Lenoir went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday October 2nd. She was born August 26th, 1935, to the late Dewey and Ella Brown of Watauga County. Georgia was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church, where she loved to sing and praise God any chance she could. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Buster Miller and Benny Miller; ex-husband, Thomas Glenn Miller, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Arvil Myers, son Danny Miller and wife Lisa of Lenoir; two daughters, Melinda Foster and husband Jamie of Wilkesboro, Sandy Hyler and husband Tracey of Lenoir; she is also survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous other relatives. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastors Tony Harris and Gary Gragg officiating. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Arlie Wagner, Brent Watson, Dennis Norris, Dylan Dye, James Myers, Michael Honeycutt and Ronnie Ward; Honorary pallbearers, Jason Wagner and Joe Thompson.
