Gary Coffey

Gary Edwin “Redneck” Coffey, age 62, of Hendersonville, NC, formerly of Granite Falls, passed away on November 11, 2016 after a brief illness. He was born to the late Ira and Elsie Coffey on April 14, 1954. He had a special love for motorcycles and ATV’s. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley and Allie Coffey, and Philo and Sarah Harmon; and a brother, McDonald Harmon. He is survived by his sisters, Karen Coffey (Partner Sherry Robbins) and Sarah Baker (Companion James Triplett); a brother, Dale Coffey; nieces, Stacy Burgess, Cheryl Coffey, Mandy Harmon and Chelsea Baker; nephews, Willy Baker, and Wesley Coffey and his “Angel” Susan Finney. A memorial service celebrating Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Tommy Coffey officiating.
