Erin Hamby

Lenoir – Erin Caroline Hamby, age 21, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 27. 2022. She was born in Grand Forks, ND on November 10, 2001 to Christopher and Lisa Pope Hamby.

Erin’s life was cut short due to her accident in 2019. Since then, she had dealt with adversity but accepted it and remained positive. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend who brought joy every day and touched many lives. Her life was an inspiration to all that knew her.

In addition to her parents, Erin is survived by her brother, Lucas Hamby; and her faithful, furry friend, Sawyer.

A celebration of Erin’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:00 with Pastor Steve Hedgecock officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at First Baptist Church Whitnel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
