Ella Stallman

Ella Stallman Lenoir- Mrs. Ella Watson Stallman, age 80, went to see Jesus on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Lenoir Healthcare. She was born in Watauga County on August 23, 1937 to the late Cornelius and Roxie Carrol Watson. Mrs. Stallman was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a devout Christian; Godly example for her family and friends; and servant to her Lord and Savior. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kenneth Burchette; grandchildren, Tina Woods and Kenny Burchette; and nine brothers and sisters. Mrs. Stallman is survived by her husband of nearly 64 years, George Stallman; her daughter, Margaree Burchette; grandchildren, Stephanie Robbins and husband, Matt; Sherry Hamby and husband, Junior; Deedee Burchette; Stephen Burchette and fiancée, Emma; and Stacey Burchette; great-grandchildren, Sierra Vance; Courtney Caldwell; Dillon Triplette; Amber Robbins; Krista Hamby; Aaron Hamby; and Arianna Huggins; great-great-grandchildren, Serenity and Raelynn Vance; Kenlea Caldwell; and Nora Mani; brothers, Talmadge Watson; Teddy Watson and C.R. Watson; sisters, Sue Earp and Martha Gantt; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Stallman’s life will be held at Harrisburg Baptist Church on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Tony Harris; Pastor Waitsel Beard; Pastor Joe Angle; and Pastor Junior Hamby officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Laurel Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
