Diane Duncan

Granite Falls – Diane McMahan Duncan, age 63, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County May 2, 1957 to the late Paul and June McMahan. She was married to Chris Duncan of the residence. Diane worked at First United Methodist Church of Lenoir for 36 years, until she had to retire due to declining health. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by everyone that got to know her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jodi Triplett and husband, Brian; Mandy Sawyer; Kristy Wiggs and husband, Patrick; and Danielle Mauney and husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Caitlin Triplett; Tyler Triplett; Abby Farthing; Megan Farthing; Hayley Sawyer; and Kinsley Mauney. A graveside service celebrating Diane’s life will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:30 PM with Pastor Tony Harris officiating.
