Dan Clayton Bryant

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Dan Clayton Bryant, age 78, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bryant was born in Caldwell County on June 3, 1934 to the late Clyde Bryant and Pearl Carswell Bryant. He was married to the late Evelyn Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a devoted father and he was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his son, Kim Bryant, daughter-in-law, Jennifer Bryant, and brothers, Vannoy Bryant, Andy Bryant, Paul Bryant, and Ray Bryant. He is survived by his son, Jeff Bryant; sister, Faye Cooke; and brother, Archie Bryant. A Celebration of Mr. Bryant’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Reverend Leon Morrow and Reverend Jack Church officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Denver Townsend, Steve Church, Mike Bryant, Rocky Bryant, Sid Bryant, and Steve Bryant. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
