Allen Smith

Mr. Allen Beamer Smith, age 58, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Valdese Hospital.

Born June 28, 1964 in Caldwell County, Allen was the son of Mabel Wood Brown and the late George Smith.  Allen was a member of Heavenly Hope Baptist Church in Hudson.  His favorite hobby was his dogs.  He was a pure breed dog breeder and loved all breeds.  The most important thing in his life was the love he had for his children.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sarah St. John Smith; his children, Faith Mackenzie Smith, Hope Mackennah Smith, Grace Mackendra Smith, Kimber A. Hipps, Shoun Allen Smith and Tiffany Dawn Smith; a sister, Cindy Parson; two brothers, Glenn Smith and Johnny Smith; a special friend, Jimbo Hardin; he is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Joe Angle officiating.

The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
