Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Zola Izella Miller, age 71, of Lenoir, died Friday, November 16, 2007 at her home. Born December 21, 1935 in Wilkes County, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late James Conrad and Nellie Frances Holloway Bishop and the wife of the late Johnny Miller. Mrs. Miller loved to sing and play music with her family along with teaching them to play the guitar. She is survived by 3 sons, James Miller, Sr.; Alan Miller, Sr. and Anthony Miller Sr., all of Lenoir; 2 sisters, Kathleen Price and husband Charlie of Gamewell; Ersula Tolbert and husband Boyd of Granite Falls; 1 brother, James Bishop and wife Carol of Lenoir; 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and the two best daughters-in-law she could have had, Arona Miller and Betty Miller of Lenoir and 16 nieces and 7 nephews. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Debra Bolin and Donna Miller, one brother, Harold Bishop, one grandson, Adam Miller and one great-grandson, Robbie Phillips, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2007 at Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Rodney Rabey and Reverend Benny Price officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Valdese. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 6 until 8 PM.
