Zachary "Zack" Cayden Hatton

Zachary Cayden Hatton, 23, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Zack was born on July 20, 2001 to Brian and Jessica Watson, and biological father Nathan Curtis.

Zack is preceded in death by his pawpaw Rick Hatton and pawpaw Doug Watson.

Those left to cherish Zack’s memory are his parents, Brian and Jessica Watson, Nathan Curtis; sisters, Mollie, Abby, Brett; brother, Blake; Nanny, Debbie Hatton and Bob; grandmother, Patricia Clark; special aunts, Lindsay Hatton and Melissa Lee; one of a kind uncle, Stephen Watson and numerous other relatives.

Zack was a 2019 graduate of Hibriten High School.  Zack worked for Fed Ex and was attending CCC&TI truck driving school.  He was a volunteer firefighter of Kings Creek Fire Department for 7 years.

Zack was the life of the party and loved entertaining others with his unique singing abilities.  He played football for Hibriten High School and helped lead the team to the State Championship in 2017.  He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, spending time with his friends.  Zack was a wonderful big brother to his younger sisters who adored the ground he walked on. He was a great friend with a big heart who would literally give the shirt off his back.  He was protector of his siblings and of his community.  There are not enough words to describe Zack’s life in a brief paragraph.  To know Zack, was to love Zack.  To say he will be missed is an understatement.  He will always be loved and remembered.  His time on Earth was not long enough.

A service to celebrate Zack will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Kings Creek Baptist Church at 11:30 AM with Pastor Stephen Raby officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Kings Creek Baptist Church from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow at Kings Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are:  Isaac Baker, Garrett Burleson, Baron Eller, Seth Whisenant, Spencer Edmisten, and Kurt Woody.
