Wilma Jean Rash

Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Wilma Jean Rash, age 69, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Brian Center – Viewmont. She was born in Buchanan, VA on July 22, 1944 to the late Grover Wilson and Gladys Rasnake Wilson. This year she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband Fred Rash. In addition to her parents Mrs. Rash was preceded in death by her daughter, Loretta Rash; six sisters and seven brothers. Other than her husband, she is survived by her sons, Tony Rash and Greg Rash; sister, Mary Love and husband, Johnny; sister, Brenda Harris; brother, Giles Wilson; grandsons, Adam Toliver and Dallas Rash; granddaughter, Victoria Rash; great-granddaughter, Alyia Greene; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Rash’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, December 21, 2013 at 12:30 with David Brown officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 21:30 prior to the service.
