Wilma Honeycutt Bowlin

Wilma Honeycutt Bowlin, 70, of Whitnel passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. Wilma was born on August 23, 1951 in Wilkes County to the late John and Kathleen Honeycutt. Wilma was married to the late Cecil Bowlin. She was a member of Grandin Baptist Church. Wilma’s greatest joys was being called “Granny” and spending time with her grandsons. She was known for baking and decorating cakes. She spent time shopping and talking to loved ones on the phone. Wilma will be remembered as a dedicated mother, wife, granny and sister to her family; and leaves behind many beloved friends who will all cherish her memory. In particular, her daughters-in-law felt a bond that will live on in their hearts, and would like to especially thank Wilma for her love.

In addition to her parents and husband, Wilma is preceded in death by her infant brother and infant sister; her sister Barbara Nichols, her brother Tommy Pruitt, and her brother Scotty Honeycutt.

Wilma is survived by her sons, Alan Clement and wife Esther and Kevin Clement and wife Kristi. She is survived by her grandsons Corban, Seth, Kaiden and Colton Clement. Wilma is survived by her brothers Johnny and Larry Honeycutt; sister Rebecca Honeycutt and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

There will be a service held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Grandin Baptist Church; officiating will be Pastor Bobby Harmon.

The family will receive guest from 11:00 am until 12:pm the day of the service.
