Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Willow Mae McCall Perry, age 80, of Granite Falls, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. Born March 3, 1934 in Transylvania County, Mrs. Perry was a daughter of the late Elzie M. and Sonora Roxie McCall and the wife of Reverend Charles L. Perry of the home. Mrs. Perry was a faithful Pastor̢۪s wife and played piano for churches in different places to include Unity Baptist Church in Lenoir. She had retired from the insurance industry. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her Grandson, Deputy Adam W. Klutz; Son-in-law, William J. Klutz and two Sisters, Della Aiken and Ola Hall. Surviving other than her husband are two children, Sheila Perry Klutz of Granite Falls; David Charles Perry and wife Jill of Spindale; 2 sisters, Opal Chastain of Mt. Home, AR; Clara McCall and husband Dan of Brevard and one Grandson, Jordan Waters. A celebration of Mrs. Perry̢۪s life will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Union Baptist Church with Reverend Myron Davis, Reverend Dale Fisher and Reverend Gary Gragg officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, prior to the service in the Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Perry̢۪s Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be made to Union Baptist Church, 4595 Union Baptist Church Rd.
