Willis Elizabeth Robbins Pearson

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Willis Elizabeth Robbins Pearson, age 80, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Lenoir Health Care Center. A native of Caldwell County, Mrs. Pearson was the daughter of the late Jeff and Effie Robbins and the wife of the late J.B. Pearson. Mrs. Pearson was retired secretary from Singer Furniture. She had graduated from the secretary program of Lenoir-Rhyne College. She was a lifelong member of First Advent Christian Church where she sang in the choir and served as treasurer for 25 years. Mrs. Pearson is survived by her daughter Sherry Reid and husband Roger of Lenoir; three grandchildren, Chuck Pearson and Beth Coffey and husband Jeff all of Lenoir; Scott Huffsteller of Cary; one sister, Ila Robinson of Lenoir; and two great-grandchildren, Grey of Cary and Morgan of Lenoir. Preceding her in death other than her parents and husband is her son, Charles “Snoogie” Pearson, three brothers, Marvin, Carl and Charlie Robbins and two sisters, Edith Martin and Evie Keller. Funeral services for Mrs. Pearson will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2006 at First Advent Christian Church with Reverend Robert Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at First Advent Christian Church prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 and at other times at the home of Sherry and Roger Reid, 2105 Blue Ridge Circle, Lenoir.
