William Ray Truesdale

William Ray Truesdale, 93, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Amorem-Robbins. He was born in Lancaster, SC on May 28, 1931 to the late Eddie Truesdale and Maggie Bowers Truesdale.

Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family, especially the young ones. He was an avid reader, Carolina Tarheel fan and he liked being outdoors. Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Johnsie Truesdale; infant son, Ronald Leslie Truesdale; brothers, Jack and Gene Truesdale; and grandson John Randall Mabe.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Melissa Bell; son, Terry Truesdale and wife, Cheryl; daughter. Kaye Mabe and husband, John; grandchildren, Jasen Truesdale and wife, Julie; Shane Bell and wife, Marti; Matthew Mabe and wife, Martha; Jesse Mabe and wife, Jesica; Ethan Hefner and wife, Lauryn; Seth Hefner and wife, Lauren; great-grandchildren, Trevor; Tanner; Justin; Hunter; Lily; Harrison; Hudson; Jaxon; Layla; Emma; Grayson; Noah; Sloane; Harper; and Olivia.

He will be missed by all.

A private service will be held by the family.
