Lenoir, NC- Mr. William ?Guy? James Thomas, of Lenoir, died Monday, November 5, 2007 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born April 18, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan, Mr. Thomas was a son of the late William James Thomas, Sr. and Ann Vichount Thomas. He is survived by his wife Betty Thomas of the home; three sons, Terry Thomas and wife Diane of Taylor, Michigan; William James Thomas, III of New Iberia, Louisiana; Mark Andrew Leduc of New Hall, CA; one step-son, Donald Phillips of Utica, Michigan; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. After a private visitation at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir, funeral services were conducted at Elliott Funeral Home in Utica, Michigan. Burial followed in the Utica Cemetery.
