William Robert Koelliker

Lenoir –Mr. William Robert Koelliker, age 97, of Lenoir, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson.He was a son of the late William and Ellen G. Koelliker. His first wife, Ann Tehan Koelliker and second wife, Mildred Huhn Deighton Koelliker and son, William “Mike” Koelliker, also preceded him in death. Mr. Koelliker was an accountant and retired in 1983 from Leaseway Transportation Corporation, and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by a daughter, Ellen Mary Scott; stepchildren, Janice Deighton; Daniel Deighton and wife Cindy; John Deighton and wife Conni; Thomas Deighton and wife Maria; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Catholic Mass will be held 12:00 Noon on Friday, September 4, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi with Reverend Julio Dominguez officiating.Interment will be held at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. at Evans Funeral Service prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC28645.
