William Ted Griffin

Jacksonville, FL- Mr. William Ted Griffin, age 49, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Shands Jacksonville. Born May 12, 1962 in Caldwell County, William was a son of Jerry Griffin and the late Carolyn Beshears Griffin. He was Baptist by faith and had attended the First Baptist Church of Whitnel. He worked as an upholster for several years. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Sylvia Bolick Griffin. In addition to his father, survivors include three brothers and sisters in law, David Griffin of Lenoir, Terry and Donna Griffin of Hudson, Darren and Gina Griffin of Lenoir; In addition to his brothers he is also survived by Dirk Maust, Sandy Zobek, and Mark Maust; he is survived by numerous other relatives. A graveside celebration of William’s life will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Whitnel Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Reverend Stuart White officiating.
