William Clyde Dula

Lenoir, NC – Mr. William Clyde “Uncle Buck” Dula, Jr., age 74, of Lenoir, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at his home. Born February 20, 1938 in Caldwell County, William was a son of the late, William Clyde and Estelle Shoemake Dula. William was a contractor and Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Estelle Dula. Survivors include his children, Teresa Dula, Lisa Hicks, Deanna Upchurch, husband Raymond, of Raleigh, NC; his stepchildren, Linda Enevoldsen, husband Neal, and Robbie Stringfellow both of Raleigh; his brothers, Jack Dula, wife Reva, of Lenoir, Johnny Dula, wife Creola, and David Dula, friend Phyllis Coffey, all of Morganton; his sisters, Sherrie Scism of Panama City, FL, Obe Cormier, husband Paul, of Newton, Pam Trivette of Lenoir, Brenda Jones of Lenoir, Ann Holt of Lenoir, Jean Hart, husband Wayne, of Lenoir, and Billie Dula of Lenoir; a special nephew, Michael Dula, a loving caregiver, Chastity Davis, and the love of his life, Alzibeth “Lizzy” Purvis. A memorial service for William will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The family requests no flowers, but donations sent to the charity of your choice.
