William Harvey Buckner

Hudson, NC- Mr. William ?Junior? Harvey Buckner, Jr., age 43, of Hudson, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Born July 18, 1965 in Burke County, Junior was the son of William and Noreen Buckner Sr. of Hudson. Junior attended Refuge Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed dirt biking, playing with his grandchildren and hanging out with his best friend, Shane, his son. Surviving other than his parents is his daughter, Amber Buckner and fiancée, Jasen Drum of Newton; his fiancée, Candy Walker of Hickory; his granddaughter, Alyssa Rae Drum of Newton; step-son, Jacob Wyatt of Hickory; two brothers, Blake Wesley Price and wife Sandy of Hudson; Ronnie Lee Price and wife Susan of Connelly Spring; his sister, Donna Lisa Deyton and friend Dennis of Collettsville and niece, April Hullender and husband Chris of Hickory. A celebration of Junior?s life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November, 1, 2008 at Refuge Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Woodie officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Refuge Missionary Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Refuge Missionary Baptist Church, 375 Mt. Herman Road, Hudson, NC 28638 to help the family with expenses. Pallbearers will be: Blake Price, Ronnie Price, Jeff Campbell, Woody Smith, Chris Hullender and Marty Hayes.
