William Paul Baldwin

Lenoir, NC- Mr. William “Paul” Baldwin, Jr., age 55, of Valmead passed away from this earth to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Hospice House in Hudson surrounded by family. Paul fought a long and courageous battle. Paul lived the life he wished and in the end that is all any of us may hope for. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, William Paul Baldwin, Sr. and Emma Mae Baldwin; a sister, Nancy Marie Baldwin. Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Taylor Baldwin of the home; brothers, Eugene Laws, wife Marie, of Lenoir, Johnny Baldwin of Morganton, and Dwight Baldwin of Gamewell; sisters, Reba Baldwin and Shirley Spears, husband Bruce, of Gamewell, Margaret Crump, husband Rick, Sarah O’Neill, husband Sean of Lenoir, Marjorie Crump, husband Brad, of Taylorsville and his extended family in Wilkesboro of four sisters, Jan, Pauline, Juanita and Glenda; and one brother Roger; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside celebration of William’s life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Preacher Benny Greene officiating.
