Willard "Mack" Price

Willard “Mack” Wilson Price, Jr. age 64, of Granite Falls passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. Born June 18, 1957 in Caldwell County, Mack was a son of Barbara Lail Harmon and the late Willard Wilson Price, Sr.In his younger years, Mack enjoyed playing baseball, football and going fishing.Mack enjoyed watching football games and was an avid Vikings fan.For over 20 years he served as a volunteer member of the Grace Chapel Fire Department.He also enjoyed taking care of his dogs.In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Chad Aaron Price; his step father, Don Harmon; his mother-in-law, Beatrice Burns; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Cora Lail; and his paternal grandparents, Poley and Effie Price. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife of 44 years, Patty Burns Price; two sons, Derek Price and Joshua Price (wife Stefani); two sisters, Donna Kay Hartley (husband Jerry) and Robin Denise Sain (fiancé Joe Sollid); a brother, Jerry Wayne Price; his father-in-law, James Burns, Jr.; two grandchildren, Kayla Mellow and Paige Mellow; a great grandson, Ryland; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Mack’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Clyde Bumgarner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Grace Chapel Fire Department at 4548 Grace Chapel Road, Granite Falls, NC28630.
