Willam "Willie" Lanier

William “Willie” Blaine Lanier, age 49, passed away April 18, 2022 at Amorem after a brief illness.Willie was born on September 5, 1972 in Caldwell County.He is survived by his Mother, Lois Byrd of Lenoir; his Father, Tom Lanier of Boone; fiancé, Tammy Clark; granddaughter, Serenity Hollar; a nephew, Christopher Byrd; aunts, Doris Holsclaw, Pam Holsclaw and Linda Heffner; his uncles, Jerry, Michael, Robert, Herbert and Leonard Holsclaw; lifelong friend, Alan Philyaw; two furry friends, Peanut and Stormy; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his sister, Chandra Byrd. He was a diehard fan of the Panthers.He loved camping and grilling out.He had a great sense of humor and was very witty.Willie worked as an upholsterer at Bernhardt Industries.Willie was very kindhearted and will be sorely missed by all of his friends and family.
