Wayne "Pee Wee" Cannon

Granite Falls – Wayne “Pee Wee” Cannon, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Caldwell County on June 11, 1943 to the late Ralph and Marinda Turnmire Cannon. He was married to Roberta Warsham Cannon of the residence for 59 years.

Wayne spent his entire working career in the furniture industry, working in supervision for several area furniture manufacturers. He had a passion for fishing and rarely missed a day.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kenneth Cannon; Rodney Cannon and wife, Sandi; daughter, Regina Cannon; siblings, Ervin Cannon; Iva Lee Anderson and husband, Johnny; Shelba Jean and husband, Bill; Howard Cannon and wife, Lois; Shirley Spears and husband, Wade; Carolyn Miller and husband, Norman; and Charlie Cannon and wife, Rhonda “Ronnie”; grandchildren, Brandon Beane; Bryan Cannon; Clay Cannon and Katelyn Cannon; great-grandsons,  Grayson Beane and Granger Cannon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a private service for Wayne.
