Wayne Bruce Triplett

Lenoir- Mr. Wayne Bruce Triplett, age 62, of Lenoir, died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born February 9, 1948 in Caldwell County, he was a son of the late Wayne Barber Triplett and Mrs. Eva Teague of Granite Falls and the husband of Adele King Triplett to whom they were married 43 years. Mr. Triplett had worked for Beard Hosiery and Broyhill Furniture. He loved fishing and hunting and traveling to Cherokee. He will always be remembered for standing children in the corner. Other than his wife and mother, Mr. Triplett is survived by his children; Brian Triplett and wife Jodi and their children, Tyler and Caitlin all of Lenoir; Stephanie Smith and daughter, Angela McNeely of Hudson; Bobby Triplett and wife Crystal and their children Carrisa, Destiny & Lacey; one great-grandchild, Dakota Carver; one brother, Bill Triplett of Hudson and one sister, Ann Turner of Granite Falls. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 6, 2010 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
