He and Tootsie are long-standing members and supporters of Lower Creek Baptist Church. Ward is survived by wife; his two sons, Brooks James Story, his wife Terri and their children Blake and Mia; Pierce Bradley Story and his wife Heather; his beloved brother and fellow gardener Robert Melvin Story, and his sister Jeanette Story Maltba. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Darryl and Jack, and a sister, Christine Story Rhodes. In keeping with Ward’s wishes, no services will be held.
