Wade Michael Taylor

Lenoir, NC- Wade Michael Taylor, Jr., age 28 passed away on January 23, 2013.                 . Michael was born in Caldwell County on June 20, 1984 to Linda Darlene Mull of Banner Elk and the late Wade Michael “Butch” Taylor, Sr. He was a graduate of West Caldwell High School. He had earlier been awarded an “I Have a Dream” scholarship to Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gladys and Wade H. Taylor and Clyde Mull. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his uncle, John Taylor and wife, Lorna; sisters, Danette Landrum and husband, Blake; Jennifer McKinney and husband, Jack; Melissa Strickland and husband, Thomas; grandmother, Johnny Sue Berry; 2 uncles; 2 aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 12:00 with Pastor Alan Carr officiating. A private burial will take place at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
