Vonnie Anderson

Vonnie Price Anderson, age 84, of Lenoir, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on April 8, 1932 to the late William Price and Martha Poarch Price. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Anderson; brothers, Horace Price, Ron Price, Paul Price; sisters, Annie Lou Price, Pansy Price and Vernie Bryant; and her grandson, Blake Annas. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her son, Leonard Anderson and wife, Carla; daughters, Donna Day and husband, Andy; Karen Griffin and husband, Clifford; sisters, Ruby Herman, Inez Dula and Sue Lowe; grandchildren, Raven Anderson, Dylan Anderson, Robin Watters, Ian Anderson, Robert Annas, Megan Sprinkle and Nicholas Griffin; and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Hollow Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Geoff Day officiating.
