Vivian Hendrix

Vivian Hendrix, of Lenoir, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at UNC Healthcare of Lenoir. Vivian was born on August 13, 1940 to the late Lee and Pearl Triplett in War, WV. She was married to JC “Junior” Hendrix for 64 years. Vivian was a loving, selfless woman who went above and beyond for anyone she knew, and always had a smile on her face. Vivian was a great mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her Lord. In addition to her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her brother, Harry Crotts. In addition to her husband, Vivian is survived her three children: Becky Plyler of Lenoir; Nick Hendrix (Lori) of Lenoir; and Kathy Campbell of Lenoir. She is survived by three siblings: Harold Crotts and wife Kay of Houston, TX; Mary Thompson of Smithfield, NC; and Lynda Triplett of Santa Rosa, California. Vivian is survived by her eight grandchildren: Brandon Miller and wife Liane of Maryland; Erica Hartley and husband Tracy of Lenoir; Charlie Campbell and wife Britnye of Lenoir; Chris Campbell of Lenoir; Matt Hendrix and wife Tabitha of Hudson; Dylan Hendrix of Lenoir; Brandi Hood and husband Josh of Lenoir; and Garrett Hendrix and fiancé Kalyn of Lenoir. Vivian is, also, survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. The family will be having a private graveside service for family and friends at Bethany Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to The National Kidney Foundation or a charity of their choice.
