Vivian Crump Clontz

Lenoir – Vivian Kathleen Crump Clontz, age 79, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Grandview Villa Assisted Living. She was born in Burke County on April 5, 1935 to the late William and Minnie Crump. Mrs. Clontz enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, a good game of yahtzee, her grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clontz, Jr., three brothers and four sisters. She is survivedby her son, Kenneth Clontz; daughter, Kathy Gragg and husband, Clayton; grandchildren Timothy Gragg and wife, Kim; Brian Gragg and wife, Junine; great-grandchildren, Paigelyn Gragg, Gretchyn Gragg, and Lincoln Gragg; also, her loving and caring Grandview Villa “Family”. A graveside service will be held on at Blue Ridge Memorial Park on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 4:30 PM. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service from 3:00 until 4:00.
