Virginia Lambert

Lenoir, NC- Virginia E. Lambert, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Granview Villa Assisted Living in Lenoir, NC. She was born on August 5, 1919 in Caldwell County to Charlie and Junie Fox Eller who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronda Lambert; a daughter, Norma L. Crisp; two brothers, Lloyd Eller and Roy Eller; one sister, Leona E. Aubain. She is survived by one son, Alan Lambert; a daughter, Ronnie Cannon (husband Charlie); five grandchildren, Rick Harris, Cindy Greer (husband Tony), Constance Crisp, Charles Crisp (wife Carole) and Traci Robinson (husband Robbie); she is also survived by seven great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Mrs. Lambert retired from Hammary manufacturing Company and was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church of Lenoir. A memorial service celebrating Virginia's life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Tony Greer and Dr. Cliff Black officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Grandview Villa Assisted Living, Medi Home Hospice, Newland, NC and College Avenue Baptist Church.
