Vera Dollars Robbins

Vera Dollars Robbins, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. She was born in Watauga County on February 14, 1943 to the late George Dollars and Frances Tester Dollars.

Vera was a loving wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Robbins and brothers, Richard Dollars, Tommy Dollars and Clarence Dollars.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Robbins and Patrick Clark; son, Randy Robbins and wife, Tammie; grandson, Chase Puett; brothers, David Dollars; Bud Dollars; Arnold Dollars; Raymond Dollars; sisters, Mary Ann Winkler and Rebecca Presnell; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

A graveside service celebrating Vera’s life will be held at Mountainview Baptist Church Cemetery, in Deep Gap, on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
