Vera Elizabeth Hoskins

Vera Elizabeth Hoskins, 75, of Lenoir, NC went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2023.

Vera was born on January 8, 1948 to the late Charles and Madellene Robbins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Alan Lee Robbins and sister, Charlene Lanham.

Those left to cherish Vera’s memory are her husband of 52 years, William Lee Hoskins; sons Raymond Michael Hoskins (Crystal) and William Andrew Hoskins; granddaughter, Caroline Crespo (Hector); sisters, Margaret Quinn (Jim), Shirley Plotts and Michelle Aronson (Jeremy); brothers, Phillip Robbins (Cora), Raymond Robbins, Randall Robbins (Janice) and Tony Robbins (Janet); as well as numerous other relatives.

Vera was first and foremost a Christian who loved the Lord. She was very outgoing and a friend to all. Vera was a talented musician who loved to sing with her sisters and play the piano and organ at church. She loved to gather around the table to play games with family and friends. She was extremely talented, humorous, and witty. Vera was a wonderful wife, mother, and sister. She touched many lives as a Registered Nurse in her life and will be remembered fondly by all.

A service will be held on October 7, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Grandview Park Baptist Church with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating. There will be a visitation prior from 2:00-3:00 PM at Grandview Park Baptist Church as well. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
