Vance Eugene Church

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Vance Eugene Church age 48, of Lenoir, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at his home. Born February 27, 1961, he was a son of Robert Jerome Church and the late, Rachel Craig Church. Vance enjoyed working on computers and spending time on his C.B. radio. He enjoyed working and riding his tractor. Surviving are his wife, Carol Church of Morganton; his father, Robert Jerome Church; four children, Sarah Frickie, Matthew Frickie, Jeffery Frickie, and Andrew Frickie; four sisters, Nancy Coffey of Granite Falls, Donna Hart of Lenoir, Jennie Hendrix of Lenoir, and Beverly Church of Jelico, Kentucky; two brothers, Nathan Church of Collettesville, and Rondy Church of Lenoir; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service for Vance will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the El Bethel Baptist Church on Walt Arney Road at 6:00 PM. Officiating will be Reverend Jerry Yount. The family will receive friends before and after the service at the church.
