Una Virginia Winkler White

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Una Virginia Winkler White, age 81, of Lenoir, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in Frye Regional Medical Center. Born April 18, 1927 in Caldwell County, Mrs. White was a daughter of the late Anson and Sarah Winkler and the wife of Richard Norman White. Mrs. White was a homemaker and member of Calvary Advent Christian Church. She had worked for Bernhardt Furniture Industries and as a CNA with Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Surviving other than her husband is her daughter, Jeannie White Hargadon of Charlotte and a number of nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Zula Winkler and Beulah W. Miller and 3 brothers, Clifford Winkler, Fred Winkler and Ernest Winkler. A celebration of Mrs. White?s life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 14, 2008 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Jim Lee and Reverend Mark White officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 7 until 9 PM at Evans Funeral Service of Lenoir. Pallbearers will be: Keats Dellinger, Steve White, Mike White, David Pritchard, Holden Pritchard and Tim White.
