Lenoir- Troy Pinkney Bolick, 85, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Caldwell Hospice. Troy was born on August 16, 1934 to the late Eli and Vertie Baker Bolick. Troy was married to the late Marlene Younce Bolick for 56 years before her death in October 2012. Troy had the joy of working in construction alongside his twin brother, Toy and his other brother, Thurston during his career. Throughout his life he enjoyed golfing and gardening with his grandsons, great-grandsons and brothers. Troy is survived by his daughters “his boys”, Brenda Helton and husband, Harold; Rita Garvin; Patricia Bolick; Sheila Stapleton and husband, Rick; and Lisa Caschette and husband, Joel; he is also survived by his grandchildren, Brad Danielson; Rebecca Danielson and husband, Stephen; Josh Stapleton and wife, Teriann; Liz Pennell and husband Chad; Christan Cook and husband, Jamie; Porscha Isaacs and husband, Addison; and Tyler Caschette; great-grandchildren, Keyshawn Danielson; Carter Danielson; Lily Pennell; Jaxson Stapleton; Mallory Cook; Jade Cook; Presley Isaacs; and Oaklyn Stapleton. In addition to his wife and parents, Troy is preceded in death by his five sisters and three brothers. A celebration of Troy’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Service on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 6:30 PM with Pastor Fred Stapleton officiating. Interment will be private at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 prior to the service.
