Trina Rebecca Williams, aged 68, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2023, at her residence in Lenoir. Trina was born on January 22, 1955, in Caldwell County to her late parents, Allene and John Johnson. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Carolyn Taschner and Kenneth Johnson.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Danny Williams, whom she considered the love of her life. She is also survived by her three daughters, Lorrie Bradshaw of Hudson, Tammy Scott (husband James) of Hudson, and Serenity Williams of Lenoir. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother Johnny Johnson of Lenoir, sister Dazine Stallard of Granite Falls, seven grandchildren, April Grant, Amber Jolley, Cara Williams, Brandon Scott (wife Dakota), Bryson Scott, Harper Williams, and Harley Williams. Trina was also a proud great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren, Keeli Townsend, Brayden Grant, Easton Scott, Jax Grant, and Blaklee Keller. She had numerous nieces and nephews who will also greatly miss her presence. Furthermore, Trina had a best friend of 49 years, Pat Sentelle, who had always been there for her and fondly referred to her as “Dummy.”
Trina was an employee at Broyhill for over 30 years and also served as the President of the Southeastern Dry Kiln Club for many years. She was a dedicated Christian woman and she loved volunteering for vacation Bible school. Trina had a passion for crafting, spending time outdoors, and had a special love for sunflowers. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her beloved family.
Trina’s absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Her unwavering devotion to her family and her strong faith in the Lord serve as a testament to her character. Although we mourn her loss, we take solace in knowing that she has found eternal peace in the loving embrace of Jesus Christ. Through God’s grace, we have faith that we will one day be reunited with her. Thus, this is not a final farewell, but rather a temporary parting for a woman who will forever live in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
