Toy Bolick Lenoir – Toy Lee Bolick, 83, of Lenoir, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care of Lenoir. Toy was born on August 16, 1934 in Watauga County to the late Eli and Vertie Bolick. Toy was married to Margaret Bolick for 49 years. Toy was an avid golfer and gardener. Toy worked in construction with his twin brother Troy and other brother Thurston for his entire working career. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Pisgah Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Toy is survived by his children: Ted Bolick and wife Abbie; Wayne Cox and wife Diane; Larry Cox and wife Donna; Terry Cox; and daughter Debbie Lackey. He is, also, survived by his grandchildren: Jordan Bolick; Fallon Barlowe and husband Matt; Elliot Cox; Brandon Phillips; Jonathan Phillips; Megan Gorski and husband Adam; Makayla Lackey; Daniel Lackey; Bryan Lackey; Taylor Cox; Hayley Rawls and husband Travis; and Morgan Walker-Grimes and husband Ryan. He is survived by two great-grandchildren Austin Barlowe and Willson Ferguson. Toy is survived by his twin brother Troy Bolick and sister Dottie Griffin. Toy is preceded in death by his siblings: Richard Bolick; Thurston Bolick; Emmer Hartley; Iretha Bolick; Ada Davis; and Eula Hartley. Toy is preceded in death by two grandchildren: Ashton Phillips and Avery Lackey II. There will be a service for Toy Bolick on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Evans Funeral Chapel at 3:00 pm; officiated by Pastor Ronnie Miller. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Evans Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Park immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street Lenoir, NC 28645.
