Tony James Williams

Lenoir РTony James Williams, age 64, passed away on August 6, 2014 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born in Caldwell County on October 19, 1949 to Thelma Austin Mills and the late Harry James Williams. He was married for 45 years to Paulette Walsh Williams of the residence. Tony had a long career as a paramedic for both Caldwell and Alexander counties and served as an instructor and mentor to many throughout his career. In addition to his wife and mother, Tony is survived by his daughters, Brandi Williams; Jamie Williams Robbins and husband, Mark; brothers, Terry Williams and wife, Beverly; Timmy Williams and wife, Evelyn; Michael Williams and wife, Emily; sister, Tina Williams McQueen and husband, Danny; step-mother, Goldie Williams Nelson; granddaughters, Journey Curtis and Brooke Robbins; grandson, Jessi Williams and fianc̩e, Mercedes Hooper, parents of his great-grandson and namesake, Raiden James Williams; numerous nieces and nephews and other children he treated as his own. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
