Tony Price

Granite Falls – William Tony Price, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was born in Caldwell County on January 28, 1981 to Tony Price and the late Gail Shoemaker Price. Tony will always be remembered as a loving father, son and brother. He was employed with Harris Teeter, at the time of his death, for more than five years. Most recently as an assistant store director. Prior to his employment with Harris Teeter he had worked for several Bi-Lo locations. Tony is survived by his father, Tony Price and step-mom, Melinda; children and best friends, Piper, Phoebe and Parker Price; fiancée, Taylor Parrish; brothers, Randy Price and wife, Ashley; Joshua Price; Christian Price; sisters, Natasha Martin and husband, Tyler; Kristina Price; Bridgett Price; former wife, Jessica Price; aunt, Pam Shoemaker; numerous nieces, nephews, family members and countless friends. There will be a gathering of friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at New Beginning’s Baptist Church on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Daniel Buchanan officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service at the church.
