Tommy "Zeke" Dula

Lenoir – Thomas Alexander Dula “Zeke”, age 64, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Caldwell County on October 19, 1954 to the late Garland and Olene Sloan Dula. Tommy was a veteran of the United States Army and worked in the furniture industry for a number of years. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed working with wood. Tommy was a caring and giving person with a big heart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister. He is survived by his wife, Martha Dula; daughters, Tia Bowers and Christina Oliver; five grandchildren; brothers, Garland Dula wife, Eva; Patrick Dula and wife, Babbette; and Sherman Dula and wife, Gelene; sisters, Diana Blue and husband, Thomas; Felicia Booker; his aunt, Reather Ervin; and other numerous relatives. A memorial service for Tommy will be held at Dulatown Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 3:30 PM. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:30 prior to the service.
